My outfit centers around liberation and resistance, but also love and appreciation for my heritage and the Middle Eastern diaspora, fusing punk with and traditional middle eastern cultural attire.

:
This outfit was much more simpler to make but l had no idea what l was doing. I pinned fabric to the manaquine how l wanted it to rest then sewed a few parts of it to get fitted. Then l got vines that I pruned from my garden willow tree willow tree that l always sit under and speak to, and wrapped wire around it just like l did with the headpiece. Then l sewed it to the collor of the gown and despite it breakin the wire does a great job of keeping it fully flexible and intact. I added embellishments to match with the coin headress then I attached some gold painted leaves to match with the other headpiece. I was very ontentional with my placements, looking back on my reference drawing and making transitions from small leaves to bigger on the shoulders to emphasise that v shape taper. Then l flipped o. Some rouge leaves o. The side inspired my the ancient Sumerian and Greek cloaks.
PROSTHETIC:
There was not enough time to complete the prosthetic.
